Description
LiNing LiRen 7 “Hawk” basketball shoes are upgraded a lot from Liren 6.
Positioning: An all‑around mid‑cut team basketball shoe focused on low center of gravity, snappy take‑off, and shoe‑foot integration. It is the lightest main‑line model in the Li-Ning Liren series.
Key Specifications
Midsole: Dual Boom Cushioning, Full‑length Boom frame + cavity‑filled full‑length Super Boom. They offer firm, responsive bounce instead of plush cushioning, greatly improved forefoot reaction.
Torsion Resistance: Midfoot nylon support plate + PEBAX front fork propulsion plate, dual‑layer torsion‑resistant structure for strong forward propulsion.
Construction: Wrap‑molding:
Midsole embedded into the upper, with outsole connecting to upper. Significantly improves lockdown, minimizing foot shift inside the shoe for excellent shoe‑foot integration.
Outsole: Dragon‑ridge tread pattern with TUFF RB wear‑resistant rubber. Outstanding grip on both indoor and outdoor courts.
Weight: Approximately 350g for size 42. Mid‑cut weight approaching that of a low‑cut shoe. Forefoot center of gravity lowered by 2 mm compared with Razor 6 for enhanced court feel.
Foot‑Shape Compatibility
✅ Suitable for: Normal‑width feet, slightly wide feet, high insteps. Guards and forwards, players who rely on crossovers, quick stops and drives.
⚠️ Use caution for: Heavy‑weight centers (limited heel cushioning capacity); extremely narrow feet may experience excess internal space.
Pros & Cons in Play
**Advantages**
1. Crisp take‑offs, low center of gravity, agile crossovers. Mid‑cut design delivers responsiveness close to a low‑cut shoe.
2. Solid lockdown and reliable anti‑roll‑over performance. Correct force line; less prone to over‑pronation even for flat‑footed players.
3. Improved instep volume with better compatibility than previous generations; minimal break‑in period.
**Disadvantages**
1. Limited heel cushioning limit; heavy‑weight players should pay attention upon landing.
2. Grip performance drops on wet surfaces.
3. The wrap‑molded structure makes cleaning more inconvenient than conventional basketball shoes.
Popular Colorways
Big Dipper, Azure, Manuscript, Hawk etc.
Brief summary: An all‑round speed‑oriented team shoe. Well‑suited for drivers and swingmen. Not the top priority for heavy‑weight interior players.
